EU AI Act · Article 4 · AI literacy

Your team already uses AI. Teach them to use it safely.

93% of employees already run work through ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot — most of it unapproved. ShieldAI trains your people in plain language, keeps the completion records your auditor will ask for, and catches sensitive data before it leaves the company.

Who it's for

Three ordinary days that end up in the audit.

ShieldAI is built for two people at once: the compliance officer who has to prove the company is in order, and the colleague in accounting who has never heard of Article 4 and simply wants to be done by five.

01 · Finance

Elena pasted the supplier ledger into ChatGPT.

It saved her an afternoon. It also handed client names, IBANs and invoice totals to a service nobody in the company had ever approved.

02 · HR

480 applications, shortlisted by an AI tool.

Fast and consistent — until a rejected candidate asked which criteria the model actually used. Nobody had written it down.

03 · Management

“Everyone here uses AI responsibly.”

Then the auditor asked for the training records and the completion dates. Good intentions are not evidence.

The platform

Training, proof and prevention in one place.

ShieldAI is not a slide deck emailed round once a year. It is the training your people will actually watch, the audit trail your compliance officer needs, and the guardrail that sits between a careless prompt and a data leak.

Four training modules

M1 to M4, each around five chapters. Every chapter is a narrated video of five to eight minutes, closed by a certificate quiz. Written for accountants and account managers, not for engineers.

Downloadable certificates

Pass the quiz and the certificate is issued, stored and ready to download — per employee, per module, carrying the date an auditor will ask for.

AI Prompt Simulator

55 real scenarios across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, HR, Finance, IT and Operations. People practise on the situations they meet on a Tuesday, not on abstractions.

AI Prompt Shield

Paste a prompt and it detects and masks sensitive data in real time — names, e-mail addresses, card numbers, client identifiers — before any of it reaches an external AI tool.

AI Tool Registry

A maintained list of approved AI tools, plus a request workflow — so people ask for the tool they need instead of quietly installing it.

Compliance dashboard

Completion, overdue enrolments and per-department risk on one screen. The numbers you need the moment somebody asks how far along you are.

AI policy documents

Upload your AI policy and governance documents — PDF, Word, Excel — or link cloud docs. Your people find them in the portal, next to the training that explains them.

Curriculum

Four modules. About five chapters each.

Every chapter is a self-contained narrated video of five to eight minutes, closed by the quiz that issues the certificate. Watch at the desk, on the phone, on the bus home.

  1. Module 01

    AI Literacy 101

What AI is and what it is not, where it already sits in the working day, and the vocabulary Article 4 expects your staff to have.

    ~5 chapters · quiz · 5–8 min each

  2. Module 02

    Data Classification & AI Tools

Which data may leave the building, which must never, and how to tell the difference in the three seconds before somebody presses paste.

    ~5 chapters · quiz · 5–8 min each

  3. Module 03

    Safe Prompting & Output Validation

How to ask an AI tool well — and how to check what comes back, before it becomes an e-mail, a decision or a contract.

    ~5 chapters · quiz · 5–8 min each

  4. Module 04

    Shadow AI & Leak Prevention

The unapproved tools already in use, the reasons people reach for them, and how to keep the speed without the leak.

    ~5 chapters · quiz · 5–8 min each

Chapters are released module by module, in English, Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian. Chapter 1 of Module 1 is free — no account, no form.

Why now

The deadline was February 2025.

Article 4 of the EU AI Act has required employer-provided AI literacy since February 2025. It binds providers and deployers of AI systems alike — which today means almost every company working with the EU market.

Article 4

in force since February 2025

Employers must ensure that the staff who work with AI systems have a sufficient level of AI literacy. There is no grace period and no headcount threshold to hide behind.

€35M

or 7% of global annual revenue

The ceiling for the most serious infringements of the EU AI Act — whichever of the two figures is the higher.

93%

of employees already use AI at work

ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot are already in the workflow — frequently unapproved, and frequently with sensitive company data in the prompt.
